By making a gift of your appreciated securities, your investment goes further, both for you and for our nations’ most creative teens. You get the tax benefit of the value of the gift on the date of transfer, and you may even pay no capital gains tax.
Is your company as generous as you are? You might be surprised to learn that your employer may match the gifts you’re already making to the Alliance and the Awards. Many companies encourage employee philanthropy by matching the charitable contributions made to qualified organizations. If your company has a matching gift program, your impact on creative teens could be doubled or even tripled. And it’s easy to do.
Request a “matching gift form” from your company (typically from your Human Resources office) and send it completed and signed along with your gift. That’s all you need to do to maximize your contribution. We’ll do the rest.
Making a bequest or other planned gift to support the Alliance and the Awards is a great way to ensure your legacy makes an indelible mark on creative students everywhere. And, there may be tax and other financial benefits to you as well.
