Educator Awards
Educators provide critical support and encouragement to creative students. The Scholastic Awards recognize educators at regional and national celebrations and in publications. The educators of National Winners receive Gold or Silver Medals. If your student wins a National Medal or select scholarship award, you may also be eligible for a cash award.
Gold Medal Portfolio Educator Award
$1,000 awards presented to the educators of Gold Medal Portfolio winners.
Silver Medal Portfolio Educator Award
$250 awards presented to the educators of Silver Medal Portfolio winners.
New York Life Educator Award
Underwritten by the New York Life Foundation, $500 awards are presented to the educators of New York Life Award winners.
Herblock Educator Award for Editorial Cartoon
Underwritten by The Herb Block Foundation, $500 awards are presented to the educators of The Herblock Award for Editorial Cartoon winners.
BLICK Art Materials and Utrecht Art Supplies Educator Award
Underwritten by BLICK Art Materials and Utrecht Art Supplies. All educators credited on Gold or Silver Medal artworks receive a $50 gift certificate. $500 gift certificates are presented to five select art educators, nominated by partners of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
