The Alliance partners with more than 50 art institutes, colleges and universities, to make $3.25 million in scholarships available
to graduating seniors. Scholarships range from $500 to full tuition. To be eligible for scholarships, students must earn national
recognition in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

The Alliance is an official nominating organization for the Jack Kent Cook Young Scholars Program. This program provides high achieving
students with financial need individualized educational opportunities and support throughout high school. Seventh grade students receiving
Gold Keys in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are eligible for nomination. Students may contact their regional affiliate, or

The Young Artists Awards, sponsored by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, gives $2,500 grants to artists and writers so that they
may attend summer arts programs. The grants are open to students in grades 7-11. Students accepted in the Young Artists Program may
attend summer arts and writing programs across the country. To qualify, applicants must have earned a Gold Key in The Scholastic Art &

WRITE IT is Scholastic’s publishing Web site for student writers in grades 7-12. Students can share ideas, get
