Highlights of 2005-2006:
Innovators and
Visionaries
Creative teenagers across America stepped up to
the challenge and submitted their creative work to The Scholastic
Art & Writing Awards 2006. This year’s crop of authentic
teen visions and voices proved to be one of the most bountiful
in recent history, with record-breaking participation throughout
79 affiliated regional programs and the region at large. The Scholastic
Awards have inspired hopeful teenagers to submit works of art
and writing to be evaluated—in the context of work submitted
by their peers throughout the nation—by artistic and literary
professionals. By participating in The Scholastic Awards of 2006,
these young innovators and visionaries have taken the first step
on the road to mastering their craft and becoming the next generation
creative visionaries, leaders and entrepreneurs. |
