Highlights of 2004-2005:
Exploring
the City
More than 400 students participated in a series of workshops
and cultural experiences with visual and literary arts professionals
and working artists and writers hosted in 30 venues throughout
the City. They enjoyed such opportunities as a hands-on
self-portrait collage session with artist Stephen Kroninger;
a tour of sculptor Tom Otterness' studio, hosted by Tom who
received a scholarship from The Scholastic Art Awards in 1970;
and a writing and performing workshop at Blue Coyote Theatre
