Use the shipping address if you are sending the submission package via FedEx, UPS, or a similar shipping service:
California Writing Project
University of California
2195 Hearst/Suite 101
Berkeley. CA 94720
Submission packages that are shipped must be received by 5 PM on December 15, 2011. FedEx and UPS often attempt delivery after 5 PM. On December 15, an attempt to deliver doortag will not substitute for our receiving the submission package.
The California Writing Project offices are located on a university campus, and the buildings are locked at 5 PM. Additionally, the building will be closed and secured for the holiday break, and there will be no deliveries accepted until early January.
Please plan accordingly. If the shipper cannot guarantee delivery by 5 PM on December 15, make sure the submission package arrives on the 14th instead.
Due to the number of submissions we will receive, we will not verify receipt of submission packages. Your cashed check will indicate that the package was received on time.
There is no drop-off service.
Mailing Address
Use the following mailing address if you are sending the submission package via the US Postal Service:

Be sure to use 94720-1040 if you mail the submission package. The 1040 extension is not a part of the zip code; it is the university mail code that ensures delivery to the right building on campus.
